Introducing our new Preschool Director
The Congregational Council of Christ’s Lutheran Church is pleased to announce the appointment of Sally Mead as the new Preschool Director on June 1.
Sally Mead has served the preschool since 2010, as a lead teacher and substitute director of Christ’s Lutheran Church Preschool. She brings, to her role as preschool director, a compassionate spirit, knowledge of leading a team, and over fifteen years of teaching experience in helping children to grow, learn and socialize in a positive, fun and safe environment.
Sally Mead earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Mansfield University. Continuing education and a variety of teaching experiences has focused on cooperative learning, literacy and team building to create a community of children and teachers to strengthen classroom and school systems. Sally has also served as the Co-President of the East Oreland Neighborhood Association and participated in a nonprofit organization designed to broaden women’s horizons in the community.
