Spiritual Formation is for all ages, learning has no age limit! Check out how our existing programs support our congregation. With our children we are currently using the Whirl Lectionary curriculum, so the young people are hearing the same lessons taught in worship, presented in age-appropriate and engaging ways so the whole family can talk about what they learned at church each Sunday.
Family Tables: Sunday mornings from 9 am – 10 am. We gather all together to worship and celebrate before breaking out into smaller groups by age. Meet the groups and find one that works for you and your young people.
For babies – current kindergarteners and their adults. Using the Whirl Lectionary curriculum, little people learn big things about God’s love for them. Through stories, crafts, activities and games they are introduced to the texts of the day and explore how the Bible is alive in their lives.
For 1st-3rd graders and, if desired, their adults. Using the Whirl Lectionary curriculum, small people read stories, play games, and interact with the texts of the day as they learn how the Bible and their faith influence their daily lives.
For 4th-6th graders and, if desired, their adults. Using the Whirl Lectionary curriculum, mid-sized young people study, discuss and wrestle with the texts of the day and how the Bible applies to their every day lives.
For 7th-9th graders and, if desired, their adults. This is our Confirmation program where young people wrestle with their understanding of the Lutheran faith and how it fits in their own lives as the work toward their Affirmation of Baptism, where they claim this faith as their own.
Adults of all ages are invited to read one of the days lessons and discuss over coffee.
