We believe Christ calls us each to be His hands and feet in the world. Each summer, we step out beyond our geographical "comfort zone" with our young people, and do what we can to be of service. 

Past mission trips have taken us to Hamlin, West Virginia, Rosebud Reservation, South Dakota; Hollis, New Hampshire; San Ramon, Costa Rica, Rutland, Vermont and Anchorage, Alaska.

2011 MISSION TRIP TO GUATEMALA

From July 6 to July 13, we will travel to work with our own Liz (Beil) Howland and her husband, Adam, as they serve the people of Comalapa! We hope to make a real difference in a place of great need! We thank you for ALL of your love and support as we prepared for this journey—please consider yourselves partners with us during this great adventure! We can‟t wait to share our stories on Mission Trip Sunday, September 18th!

LONG WAY HOME A WINNER!

From Liz & Adam Howland: This week at a ceremony in Amsterdam, Long Way Home was awarded third place in the BBC World Challenge Competition! The competition started with over 800 organizations. To be one of the 12 finalists was amazing, and we are overwhelmed to have been voted into the top three. Thank you to each of you for voting, and encouraging others to vote as well. We are very proud to have received this international recognition. Thank you for believing in the work LWH is doing to fight poverty in Guatemala.
