K.I.P. The first Sunday of each month, our knitter's group used to meet at 11:45 AM, right after the 10:30 service. This wonderful group knits, purls, chats, and creates warm and beautiful afghans, scarves, etc. for those in need, such as the sailors served by Seamen's Church Institute, the people of the Rosebud Reservation, or children with cancer. They are registered with Project Linus, and invite all interested in knitting or crocheting (or learning to!) to come and participate! For more information about the knitter's group, click here. 2008 NEWS On February 10, 2008, we gathered together all the items donated (and not already distributed) since Fall 2006. I encourage all to continue in their work. Whatever you make I will find a home for. I welcome any suggestions for future projects as well as donations of yarn. We will no longer meet on a monthly basis, but the closet in Room 200 will continue to stock yarn, needles, and directions. Please leave your finished items there. If anyone would like to learn to knit or crochet they can always contact me and I will help them myself or find them a tutor. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Marty Frantz, by phone at (215) 885-4812 or by email at mifrantz@comcast.net.
