Katherine B. Braun, Senior Pastor PDF Print E-mail

From the moment I entered Christ's Lutheran, I felt at home. It is my prayer that our neighbors in Oreland and beyond come to find a home with us, a safe, nurturing home with Christ at the center and Holy Scriptures as our guide.

I am called to be among you to preach and teach the Word of God, to administer the sacraments and lead in worship; to proclaim your forgiveness and provide pastoral care, to speak for justice on behalf of the poor and oppressed.  I am called to encourage folks to prepare for ministry, to share knowledge and encourage support of the ELCA and its wider ministry, to equip you for witness and service and to guide you in proclaiming God's love.

If, by God's grace, I begin to accomplish any of the above, it is as one who laughs and cries, lives and loves among you. If you have need to celebrate, mourn, share, vent or question, contact me at pastor.kbraun@verizon.net.

A graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (Mt. Airy), I come to you from North Carolina by way of Northeast Philadelphia. Senior pastor, yes, but also wife and mother. John works at Vanguard and sings in CLC choir. Mike is at Chestnut Hill College where he plays baseball. Tom is at Upper Dublin High School where he plays football and sings in the chorus. We live in Fort Washington and are blessed to be part of the CLC family. Hope to see you soon!
