Mission

            The Rejoicing Spirits ministry reaches out to enrich the spiritual lives of individuals with developmental disabilities along with their families, friends and other supportive community members.  God’s message of love is shared through a meaningful and adapted Christian worship service and fellowship time.  Individuals are free to be themselves while actively participating as contributing members in an inclusive faith community.  The ministry shares the Rejoicing Spirits model of religious inclusion with other faith-based organizations.

            Please join us at Christ’s Church on the second Sunday of every month at 4:00 p.m. for the Rejoicing Spirits interdenominational worship service.

 Rejoicing Spirits is dedicated to sharing God’s word and spreading His love to our brothers and sisters with developmental disabilities.  We’ve created an inclusive, accepting and meaningful worship service adapted to capture the attention and interest of individuals with special needs, along with their families, friends and other supportive community members.  ALL children of God are welcomed and invited to become a part of our faith community.

Fulfilling Spiritual Needs

            Rejoicing Spirits can meet the spiritual needs of individuals in one of three ways:

·         Serves as a stepping stone for those wanting to take the first step into a faith community

·         Offers complementary worship & fellowship opportunities for those who already belong to a faith community

·         Provides an inclusive faith community that may fully meet their needs
