IMPORTANT INFORMATION
REJOICING SPIRITS STARTS ITS 5TH YEAR! Our Rejoicing Spirits team is celebrating the beginning of the 5th year of ministry at CLC with exciting changes and expansions! Come join us! Beginning in May, we will worship on the FOURTH WEDNESDAY of each month at 7 pm. 2010 Dates:
May 26 July 28 September 22 November 24 June 23 August 25 October 27 December 22 This will open the worship to families with seasonal Sunday conflicts and simplify things for group homes which are understaffed on weekends. Meanwhile, ALL CLC worshippers will again share the Rejoicing Spirits experience on two Sundays this summer at 9:30 am on July 11 and August 15 in the sanctuary.
We’re going on the road! Beginning in Fall 2010, our planning team hopes to form worship teams and take the RS worship to two or more nursing homes or group homes each year. Our next planning meeting is Monday, June 7, at 7:30 pm in Room 200. Anyone who is interested is welcome!

Mission
The Rejoicing Spirits ministry reaches out to enrich the spiritual lives of individuals with developmental disabilities along with their families, friends and other supportive community members. God’s message of love is shared through a meaningful and adapted Christian worship service and fellowship time. Individuals are free to be themselves while actively participating as contributing members in an inclusive faith community. The ministry shares the Rejoicing Spirits model of religious inclusion with other faith-based organizations.
You Are Invited
Please join us at Christ’s Church on the second Sunday of every month at 4:00 p.m. for the Rejoicing Spirits interdenominational worship service. Rejoicing Spirits is dedicated to sharing God’s word and spreading His love to our brothers and sisters with developmental disabilities. We’ve created an inclusive, accepting and meaningful worship service adapted to capture the attention and interest of individuals with special needs, along with their families, friends and other supportive community members. ALL children of God are welcomed and invited to become a part of our faith community.
