THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS GIFTS!

The Endowment and Memorial Committee (E&M) wishes to acknowledge and thank those individuals and families who have made contributions to the Church’s Endowment Fund (E-Fund) during the 2007 calendar year.

In January, we reported that the E-Fund had an amount of $107, 256 invested which would provide income each year to enhance the Mission of Christ’s Church. – whether it be in the community, globally throughout the country and world, or within our own congregation.  As of December 31, 2007, the principal in the E-Fund has increased to $123,586.73 as a result of the generosity of you who have contributed to this Fund.

These gifts have come from several sources:  two member families have contributed $10,094; three families have transferred Memorial Funds amounting to $4,685 to the E-Fund; and many members have used the Endowment Fund envelopes to provide $1,514.

If you believe in the value of the E-Fund as a means to support the various missions of our Church, join your fellow members and provide whatever gift is appropriate for you.  This gift can be cash, stock, an insurance policy or a bequest through your will.  These are several ways for each of us, as stewards for Christ, to increase our response and support to God’s calling for us to worship, serve, teach and witness in His name.

We thank each of you who are currently giving to the E-Fund and those who will consider giving in some appropriate way during 2008.
